8-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Harris County 2-Car Crash on Old Bammel North Houston and State Highway 249

Harris County, Texas (June 18, 2019) – A girl was airlifted following a traffic collision that occurred Monday night in Harris County, according to the authorities.

The collision happened shortly before 10 p.m. Monday, June 17, on Old Bammel North Houston and State Highway 249.

Authorities said a Chevy HHR and another vehicle were involved in the rear-end crash.

An 8-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Chevy was transported by helicopter to a trauma center for treatment of serious injuries.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the authorities.

The crash remains under investigation.
