Michael Bishop Dies 11 Days After Pedestrian Crash on East Rancier Avenue in Killeen

Michael Bishop Killed in Killeen Pedestrian Accident on East Rancier Avenue

Killeen, Texas (January 25, 2022) – The man who was injured on January 13 in a pedestrian accident in Killeen has died, according to the police.

Michael Bishop, 50, died on Monday, January 24.

The accident happened around 6:56 p.m., on East Rancier Avenue.

Police said Bishop was crossing the roadway from the southbound side to the northbound side when he failed to yield right of way to a westbound white GMC Terrain and was hit.

Bishop was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, where he was pronounced dead at 6:43 a.m., on January 24.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
