One Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on SW 36th Street and Eldridge Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (June 22, 2020) – One person was injured Sunday night in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s West Side, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. on June 21, in the area of SW 36th Street and Eldridge Avenue.

Police said a man was driving when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a pickup truck. He then struck a utility pole, knocking it down and then rolled over.

The pickup driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was arrested on suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated.

An investigation is underway.
