1 Killed in Joaquin Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 7

Joaquin, Texas (October 14, 2019) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Joaquin, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. October 13, on state Highway 7.

DPS said a 2017 Chevrolet van was heading westbound on the highway when it crossed over the centerline and struck an eastbound 2010 GMC pickup towing a travel trailer.

The Chevrolet driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

The GMC driver, Michael Webb, 69, of Etoile, was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
