Curkoye McChester Killed in Hooks Two-Vehicle Crash on Main Street

Hooks, Texas (May 11, 2021) – One person was killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Hooks, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 7:00 p.m., May 7, in the 800 block of Main Street.

Police said the crash involved a Dodge Pickup and a Dodge Challenger. 

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals where the Challenger driver, Curkoye McChester, of Texarkana, Texas, was later pronounced dead.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
