One Injured in DUI Crash on Fall Creek Highway (FM 167) near Granbury

One Injured in Granbury Three-Vehicle Crash on Fall Creek Highway (FM 167)

Granbury, Texas (January 17, 2021) – One person was injured Wednesday night in a DUI crash near Granbury, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 8:00 p.m., January 13, on Fall Creek Highway near the Revolver Brewery.

Officials said a 25-year-old man was driving northbound on the highway when he failed to maintain a lane on a curve in the roadway, drifted into the southbound lane, and crashed head-on into another vehicle.

A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.

The driver of the southbound vehicle was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The driver and passenger of the third vehicle, who were related to the driver of the southbound vehicle, were not seriously injured in the crash.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was arrested for intoxication assault.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash.
