Man Killed in SE Houston Pedestrian Accident on Broadway Street near Pecan Park

Houston, Texas (June 4, 2021) – A man was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in southeast Houston, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened just after 9:00 p.m., June 2, in the 1500 block of Broadway Street near Pecan Park.

Officials said the man walked into the street in an unmarked area and was struck by a vehicle.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and was not intoxicated at the time of the accident.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
