Man Killed in Grapevine Pedestrian Accident on Highway 121 near Glade Road

Grapevine, Texas (June 15, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday morning in Grapevine, police said.

The deadly accident happened at about 6:15 a.m. Friday, June 14 on Highway 121 near the exit for Glade Road.

Police said a man was standing alongside a car at the exit ramp for Glade Road, filling his gas tank after his vehicle ran out of gas. While standing next to the car, the man was hit by a car.

The man was transported to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been released pending notification of family.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
