Sharon Lea Adkins ID’d as Driver Killed in Titus County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 2348 and FM 4000
Titus County, Texas (August 21, 2019) – The driver who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening at a Titus County intersection has been identified as Sharon Lea Adkins, 58, of Naples, Texas, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash took place at about 6:49 p.m. August 20, at the intersection of FM 2348 and FM 4000.
DPS said Adkins was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry westbound on FM 4000 when she ran a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Jaun A. Caudillo, 28, of Mount Pleasant, which was heading northbound on FM 2348.
Adkins was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s unclear if Caudillo was injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
