Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Jackson Street in Irving

Man Killed in Irving Pedestrian Accident on Jackson Street

Irving, Texas (October 12, 2020) – An ice cream cartman was fatally hit by a vehicle Friday evening in Irving, a local news source reported.

The deadly accident occurred on October 9, on Jackson Street.

Police said the man was walking his cart eastbound along the street when he turned, walked into the street, and was struck by an eastbound vehicle. He was not on a sidewalk at the time of the crash.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Irving Police Department is investigating the crash.
