Man Hit, Critically Hurt by Out-of-Control Car in San Antonio

Vehicle Hits, Critically Injures Man Walking With His Groceries Along San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas (November 17, 2023) – A man was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle as he walked on the sidewalk along a San Antonio street on Wednesday, according to a police report.

The accident happened at about 9:30 p.m. on November 15 along San Pedro Avenue at Embassy Oaks.

According to the police, a woman was driving on San Pedro when, for some reason, she struck the curb and rolled several times before hitting a 56-year-old man who was walking with his groceries on the sidewalk.

The man sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital.

The woman, suspected to have been intoxicated, was questioned at the scene and then released.

The crash remains under investigation.
