Woman Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Loyola Lane

Austin, Texas (January 9, 2020) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday evening in East Austin, according to officials.

The accident took place around 6:25 p.m. on Loyola Lane near Sandshof Drive, just east of Johnny Morris Road.

Officials said the woman was struck for unknown reasons by a car on the street.

The woman was declared deceased at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed.

The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
