Latricia Session, 12-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Nacogdoches County Train Crash on County Road 265

Nacogdoches County, Texas (April 21, 2019) – Two people were injured when the car they traveling in was struck by a train at a crossing in Nacogdoches County Friday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the wreck happened on Friday, April 19 on County Road 265.
The report showed that 21-year-old Latricia Session of Nacogdoches was operating a vehicle that had a 12-year-old boy as a passenger. The car was heading west on County Road 265 when Session failed to yield to the train at the railroad crossing and was struck by a Union Pacific train, which had been traveling southbound.
The two occupants of the car were both transported to a hospital. No details were available on their conditions.
The DPS is conducting an investigation into the crash.
