Tristen Anderson Killed in Big Spring Two-Vehicle Crash on North Midway Road

Big Spring, Texas (July 22, 2022) – A man was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash northeast of Big Spring, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly crash happened just after 7:00 a.m., July 19, on North Midway Road.

DPS said 26-year-old Tristen Anderson was driving a Toyota 4Runner southbound while a semi-truck was traveling northbound. 

Anderson failed to give half of the roadway and collided with the front of the semi-truck.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The semi-truck driver was treated and released at the scene.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
