One Killed in Garrett Pedestrian Accident on FM 879

Garrett, Texas (October 14, 2020) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle Friday night in Garrett, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 8:40 p.m., October 9, on FM 879 near FM 1722.

According to the report, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the highway.

The victim was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The crash closed FM 879 at Ebenezer Road and Mosley Road for two hours.

No other information was provided.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
