Two Injured in Burnet County Car-Train Crash at Highway 29 and 258

Burnet County, Texas (October 27, 2019) – Two people were injured Saturday afternoon after their car was hit by a train in Bertram, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported around 3:00 p.m. on October 26, at the intersection of Highway 29 and 258.

DPS said a car was hit by a train at the intersection.

The driver of the car and passenger sustained injuries in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing.
