1 Killed, 3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at 130th and Slide in Lubbock

One Killed and Three Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at 130th and Slide

Lubbock, Texas (July 27, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 10:40 p.m., July 26, at the intersection of 130th Street and Slide Road.

Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection, and they ended up in a ditch at the northwest corner of the intersection.

One person was killed in the crash. Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. One other person sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

Two dogs were in one of the vehicles at the time of the crash. Their conditions were not released.

The crash closed both directions of the roads.

The LPD is investigating the crash.
