Mother, 13-Year-Old Daughter Killed in Crash on Eagle Point Drive in Mont Belvieu

40-Year-Old Mother and 13-Year-Old Daughter Killed in Mont Belvieu Crash on Eagle Point Drive near FM 565

Mont Belvieu, Texas (May 18, 2023) – A mother and her daughter were killed Wednesday morning in a crash in Mont Belvieu, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 11:30 a.m., May 17, on Eagle Point Drive near FM 565.

Police said a tractor truck was attempting a U-turn on the road when it became stuck, blocking both lanes of traffic, and was struck by a black SUV.

The 40-year-old mother and her 13-year-old daughter were killed in the crash.

A third passenger, a 2-year-old girl, was airlifted to a local hospital and was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
