1 Killed, 2 Injured in Fiery Car Crash on I-45 in Houston

One Killed and Two Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45

Houston, Texas (April 19, 2021) – One person was killed, and two others were injured early Monday morning in a fiery two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash was reported around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 45.

According to the report, an older Mitsubishi Montero SUV rear-ended a street sweeper on the interstate.

Both vehicles caught fire after the collision.

One person in the SUV was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Two other people, including the street sweeper driver, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

No further details were provided.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the crash.
