Emma Sikes Killed, Anthony Foto Injured in Car Accident at CR 3801 and Highway 69 in Bullard

Emma Sikes Killed and Anthony Foto Hospitalized After Bullard Three-Vehicle Crash at Highway 69 and County Road 3801

Bullard, Texas (May 19, 2020) – A high school sophomore was killed, and another person was critically injured on Friday in a three-vehicle crash in Bullard, according to authorities.

The crash occurred on Friday, May 15, at the intersection of Highway 69 and County Road 3801.

Authorities said Emma Sikes and Anthony Foto were traveling in a Volkswagen Jetta heading westbound when they entered the intersection, and at the same time a northbound Mitsubishi Mirage and a southbound Ford Mustang merged into the intersection.

The Volkswagen then collided with the Mitsubishi. The impact pushed the Volkswagen across Highway 69, where it crashed into the Mustang.

Emma and Anthony were on their way to band practice when the crash happened. 

Emma and Anthony were airlifted to the hospital where Emma later died. Anthony had critical injuries, including collapsed lungs and broken ribs.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
