Man, Woman Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Avenue X

Lubbock, Texas (April 30, 2021) – According to the police, a man and a woman were injured Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in Lubbock.

The accident happened just after 11:00 a.m. on Avenue X near 44th.

Police said an SUV was traveling southbound when it had a blowout, causing it to crash into a parked Ford Mustang.

The force of the impact pushed the Mustang into another parked vehicle in front of it, injuring a man and a woman who were standing in front of the Mustang.

Both victims were taken to University Medical Center for treatment. One of the victims had moderate injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
