One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Loves Boulevard at S. Central Avenue in Troy

18-Year-Old Killed in Troy Two-Vehicle Crash at Loves Boulevard and S. Central Avenue

Troy, Texas (June 1, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash at a Troy intersection, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 10:55 p.m. May 31, at the intersection of Loves Boulevard and S. Central Avenue.

According to a preliminary investigation, an 18-year-old Troy man was driving a white 2013 Dodge 4 door westbound on Loves Boulevard while a silver 2004 Infiniti SUV was traveling southbound in the 1200 block of S. Central Avenue.

The vehicles then collided at the intersection.

The 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An adult female passenger in the SUV and two children were taken to local hospitals with non- life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed the southbound service road for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
