1 Killed, 2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on I-635 in Irving

One Killed and Two Injured in Irving Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 635

Irving, Texas (November 11, 2023) – One person was killed and two others were injured Friday afternoon in a wrong-way crash in Irving, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 p.m., November 10, on I-635.

Police said a vehicle was heading eastbound in the westbound lanes when it crashed head-on into another vehicle.

The wrong-way driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
