Grandfather Killed, Firefighter Seth Farquhar and Two Children Injured in Fort Bend County Crash at FM 361 and FM 1994

Fort Bend County, Texas (February 9, 2020) – One person was killed and three others, including a Fairchild volunteer firefighter, were injured Saturday afternoon in a head-on collision in Fort Bend County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on Saturday, February 8, in the area of FM 361 and FM 1994 near Richmond.

Deputies said a grandfather was driving with his two grandchildren when he was involved in a head-on collision with firefighter Seth Farquhar.

The grandfather was killed in the crash.

The two children were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Farquhar suffered a broken arm, broken leg, and significant internal bleeding. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
