One Killed and Two Injured in San Antonio Plane Crash on Espada Road near Stinson Airport

San Antonio, Texas (July 25, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a plane crash Saturday morning in San Antonio, a local news source reported.

The crash happened in the 9400 block of Espada Road, near Stinson Airport.

San Antonio Fire Department said strong winds caused the overweight plane to tailspin and crash behind a residence.

The plane caught fire after the crash, and firefighters extinguished the fire.

One person was killed in the crash.

Two others were taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with unknown injuries.

No further details were provided.

The National Transportation Safety Board is conducting the investigation.
