1 Killed in Head-On Crash on McNeil Drive and San Felipe Boulevard in NW Austin

One Killed and Two Injured in NW Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on McNeil Drive and San Felipe Boulevard

Austin, Texas (September 8, 2021) – According to the police, one person was killed, and two others were injured Tuesday evening in a head-on collision in northwest Austin.

The fatal crash happened around 9:22 p.m., September 7, at the intersection of the 7400 block of McNeil Drive and San Felipe Boulevard.

Police said a black Mazda sedan and a silver Toyota SUV were involved in the collision.

The Mazda driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Two passengers in the Mazda sedan were taken to Round Rock Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
