Person Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Fannin

Houston, Texas – According to officials, a pedestrian was struck by a METRO light train Thursday evening in Houston.

The accident happened just after 8:00 p.m., February 1, in the 6100 block of Fannin.

Officials said the pedestrian was pushing a wheelchair along the train tracks when they were struck by the train.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No additional information regarding the crash was provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
