Brandon Lehman Arrested after Fatal West Houston Car Accident on Westheimer near South Kirkwood

Woman Dies, Brandon Lehman Arrested in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer near South Kirkwood

Houston, Texas (April 12, 2019) – A driver who was involved in an auto-pedestrian accident that left a pedestrian dead on Wednesday night in west Houston was arrested by the authorities.
According to the Houston Police Department, the incident took place in the 11900 block of Westheimer near South Kirkwood around 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.
The HPD reported that a woman crossing the street was hit by a red Dodge Challenger. The vehicle was reportedly speeding westbound on Westheimer when it struck the victim.
The woman died of injuries sustained in the collision.
The police report showed that the Dodge driver stayed at the scene of the crash and showed signs of intoxication. The driver, later identified as Brandon Rashad Lehman, 23, was arrested on suspicion of DUI manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid.
The crash is under investigation.
