Rueben Trejo Injured in T-Bone Crash at North Foster Road and FM 78 in San Antonio

Driver Killed, Rueben Trejo and 2 Others Injured in San Antonio Car Crash at North Foster Road and FM 78
San Antonio, Texas (January 7, 2019) – One person was killed and three others were injured Saturday night in a t-bone accident at an intersection in San Antonio, authorities said.
The tragic crash occurred at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday, January 5 at the intersection of North Foster Road and FM 78.
Police said Rueben Justin Trejo, 18, was driving a Dodge Challenger at a high rate of speed on North Foster when he allegedly ran a red light and t-boned a pickup that was heading eastbound on North Foster Road and was trying to make a left turn onto FM 78.
The force of the crash pushed both vehicles through a steel fence and into a ditch.
The driver of the truck died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released pending identification and notification of family.
Trejo and two passengers in the Dodge were all transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in stable conditions.
According to the report, Trejo is currently facing a charge for Manslaughter.
No further details were immediately available. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
