Austin, Texas (November 6, 2023) – According to the authorities, a person was killed and a child was injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Austin.

The fatal crash happened around 5:35 a.m., November 5, on FM 812 near Circuit of the Americas Boulevard.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

A person was pronounced dead at the scene. A child was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with potentially serious injuries. A third person refused transport.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
