Loani Caballero Killed and Amar-ri Foster Injured in Madison County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45

Madison County, Texas (September 7, 2023) – One person was killed and another was injured Tuesday night in a head-on collision in Madison County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:45 p.m., September 5, on an Interstate 45 access road near Madisonville.

DPS said Loani Caballero, 21, of Dallas, was driving a 2012 Honda Civic northbound in the southbound lane of the access road when she crashed head-on into a southbound 2010 Dodge Caliber.

Caballero was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Dodge driver, 21-year-old Amar-ri Foster of Midway, was transported to CHI St Joseph Hospital in stable condition.

The DPS troopers are investigating the crash.
