Three Hurt in San Angelo Car Accident at Mercedes Street and Glenna Drive

San Angelo, Texas (July 11, 2019) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in San Angelo on Thursday morning, according to the police.

The crash occurred at the Mercedes Street and Glenna Drive intersection.

Police said a black Jeep Cherokee was traveling eastbound on Mercedes Street when it collided with a black Chevrolet SUV southbound on Glenna Drive.

Both drivers and a child in the Jeep were injured. The driver of the Jeep had non-incapacitating injuries while the child bit her tongue. The three were taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Police said the Jeep driver will be cited for failure to yield to the right-of-way.
