15-Year-Old Girl Killed in Texas City Pedestrian Accident on 25th Avenue North

Texas City, Texas (July 5, 2019) – A 15-year-old girl was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Texas City, according to a local news source.

The accident occurred just after 11:00 p.m. July 3, in the 1900 block of 25th Avenue North/ North Loop 197.

According to witnesses, three females were running from the northbound to the southbound side of 25th Avenue when one of them was hit by a 2007 Jeep east of the avenue.

The girl was killed in the accident.

The Jeep driver, a 19-year-old, was uninjured in the crash.

The driver and victim are both from Texas City.

 An investigation is ongoing.
