George McManus Critically Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on North Milwaukee at CR 6300 in Lubbock

George McManus ID’d as Man Injured in Lubbock Car Crash on North Milwaukee at CR 6300
Lubbock, Texas (February 21, 2019) – The man who was critically injured Wednesday night in a three-vehicle crash at a Lubbock intersection has been identified as George McManus, 60, of Lubbock, according to the DPS.
The crash occurred at about 7:41 p.m. February 20, on North Milwaukee at CR 6300.
DPS said McManus was driving a 1983 Ford van when it broke down. 62-year-old Vickie Ellison, of Lubbock, parked her car 1992 Chevrolet pickup in front of the van to help boost it off.  As McManus was in between the two vehicles trying to boost the van off, a 1996 Dodge pickup, driven by Richard Goodgion, 68, of Lubbock, which was heading northbound on Milwaukee rear-ended the van and pinned McManus between the cars.
McManus was taken to UMC with critical injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
