2 Killed in Corpus Christi Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 35 near Tivoli and Rockport

Corpus Christi, Texas (June 19, 2019) – 2 people were killed in a wrong-way crash Wednesday morning in Corpus Christi, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened on State Highway 35 between Tivoli and Rockport.

DPS said a silver truck was driving in the wrong lane when it crashed head-on into a southbound red truck.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
