Man Injured in DUI Crash on Madrid Street in Houston

36-Year-Old Man Injured in Houston Crash on Madrid Street at Idaho Street

Houston, Texas (July 3, 2022) – A man was injured in an alleged DUI crash in Houston earlier this month, according to authorities.

The wreck happened at about 2:00 a.m. on June 13 on Madrid Street at Idaho Street.

Authorities said a pickup was traveling on Madrid Street when the driver allowed the vehicle to cross the center median into the opposite lane.

The pickup then collided with an oncoming Mustang driven by a 36-year-old man.

The driver of the Mustang sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

Authorities determined that the pickup driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
