Officer and Civilian Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Scott Street and Stassen

Houston, Texas (October 18, 2020) – Two people, including an officer, were injured early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, a local news source reported.

The crash happened at about 2:15 a.m., October 17, at the intersection of Scott Street and Stassen.

According to the report, a Houston Police car was traveling northbound on Scott Street when it was struck by a southbound car that was attempting to turn left.

Both the officer and other driver were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The officer, a Code 3 Priority call, had a leg injury. She didn’t have her lights and sirens on at the time of the crash.
