Ann Bottenfield-Seago ID’d as Woman Killed in Austin Crash at West William Cannon Drive and Ridge Oak Road
Austin, Texas (January 19, 2019) – The woman who was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle collision in Austin has been identified as Ann Bottenfield-Seago, 58, according to police.
The deadly accident took place just before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16 at the intersection of West William Cannon Drive and Ridge Oak Road.
Police said a gray 2003 Volkswagen Jetta was attempting to turn westbound onto West William Cannon Drive from Ridge Oak Road when it failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a black 2017 Chevrolet truck that was heading eastbound in the inside lanes of West William Cannon Drive.
Bottenfield-Seago, who was the driver of the Jetta, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck and a passenger in the Jetta sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.
