HPD Officer Hospitalized after Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Tidwell Road near John Ralston; Jeanne Isabelle Charged

Houston, Texas (December 8, 2019) – An Houston police officer was injured Friday night in a suspected DUI crash in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 1:00 a.m. on Tidwell Road near John Ralston.

Police said the officer was on a special assignment and had pulled over on the side of the roadway when Jeanne Isabelle, 45, slammed into his car.

A car that was waiting for the light to change was also hit.

The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Isabelle was arrested on a pending charge of DWI.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
