Woman Killed in Victoria County Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 87

Victoria County, Texas (November 28, 2020) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday evening in Victoria County, a local news source reported.

The deadly accident happened at about 9:00 p.m., November 26, on U.S. 87, about 5 miles north of Victoria limits.

Authorities said a man was driving when he hit a woman on the highway.

The woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The man stopped after the accident and cooperated with investigators.

The DPS is investigating the crash. They are seeking dashcam or other camera footage that could help their investigation.
