One Injured in South Austin Bus Crash on IH-35 near Slaughter Lane

Austin, Texas – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash involving a private passenger bus in South Austin, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 12:58 p.m., March 1, in the 8400 block of South IH-35 near Slaughter Lane.

According to the report, the crash involved the bus and five other vehicles.

One person was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

There were 30 people on the bus at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
