Deputy and Driver Injured in Porter Crash on Highway 59
Porter, Texas (April 17, 2019) – Two people including a deputy were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Porter, according to the DPS.
The crash occurred at an unspecified time on Tuesday, April 16, on Highway 59.
DPS said the Montgomery County sheriff’s deputy was driving a patrol car when a truck crashed into him.
The deputy and the truck driver were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The highway at FM 1314 north was closed following the crash.
An investigation is underway.
