Angel Levario Killed in Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2020

Odessa, Texas (September 1, 2020) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning, west of Odessa, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 10:11 a.m., August 31, on FM 2020.

According to a preliminary investigation, a Chevrolet Cobalt was heading eastbound on the highway while a Chevrolet Silverado was heading westbound.

The Cobalt struck a curb, overcorrected, drove into oncoming traffic, and crashed into the Silverado.

The Cobalt driver, Angel Levario, 27, of Odessa, was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The driver and passenger of the Silverado were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
