One Person Injured in El Paso Pedestrian Accident at Fort Boulevard and Piedras Street

El Paso, Texas (July 23, 2022) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon at an intersection in Central El Paso, according to a report by the El Paso Police Department.

The crash occurred in the 2000 block of Fort Boulevard and Piedras Street on July 22.

As per the police report, a vehicle hit the pedestrian in the area under unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian’s identity and the extent of their injuries were not immediately available.

The street in that area was shut down in both directions following the wreck. Drivers were being asked to seek alternate routes.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
