Marco Rinallo Killed in Salado Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Salado, Texas (April 23, 2021) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Salado has been identified as Marco Rinallo,33, of Woodway, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 a.m., April 21, on Interstate 35 at 282 Southbound.

DPS said Rinallo was driving a Toyota Corolla southbound when he rear-ended a dump truck that was stopped on the inside shoulder.

Rinallo was ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of I-35, and traffic was diverted at Exit 283.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
