Ismael De Paz-Carcamo Killed in North Harris County Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on Seven Mile Lane 

Harris County, Texas (July 6, 2020) – The bicyclist who was killed last month in a hit-and-run crash in North Harris County has been identified as Ismael De Paz-Carcamo, according to authorities.

The deadly accident occurred around 9:00 p.m. June 21, on Seven Mile Lane near William Tell Street.

Deputies said Paz-Carcamo was riding southbound when a car behind him attempted to turn right. A pickup truck which was traveling behind the turning car drove onto the wrong side of the roadway and then pulled back into the southbound lane, hitting Paz-Carcamo.

Paz-Carcamo was taken to a local hospital where he later died. 

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the pickup driver, who continued driving southbound on Seven Mile Lane before turning west on Little York Road. He has been described as a Hispanic male, about 40 to 50 years old with a light complexion and brown hair.

The pickup was described as a 2005 to 2010 dark-colored Dodge Ram, and it should have heavy front-end damage.
