Maureen McDaniel, George McDaniel Injured in Corsicana Motorcycle Crash on Highway 22 near Hospital Drive

Corsicana, Texas (June 14, 2019) – Two people were injured Monday in a traffic accident in Corsicana, police said.

The accident happened in the 3100 block of Highway 22 near the 300 block of Hospital Drive Monday, June 10.

According to the police, a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck was stopped facing eastbound for a traffic director when for an unknown reason it was hit from behind by a 2013 blue Harley Davidson driven by George W. McDaniel, 61.

McDaniel and his passenger, Maureen McDaniel, 61, were thrown from the motorcycle upon the impact.

Maureen McDaniel was taken to Navarro Regional Hospital while George McDaniel declined medical treatment.

The driver of the pickup, Richard Dean Reynolds, 62, was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
