Woman Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 287 in Corsicana
76-Year-Old Woman Injured in Corsicana Car Accident on Highway 287 near Mildred
Corsicana, Texas (June 21, 2019) – A 76-year-old woman was injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Corsicana, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened at about 2:15 p.m. Sunday, June 16 on Highway 287, two miles south of Mildred.
The DPS said a 2011 blue Chrysler and a 2012 black Mercedes 300 were traveling in the southbound lane when the Mercedes pulled onto the right shoulder for an unknown reason and tried to make a U-turn, causing the Chrysler to hit the Mercedes on the front driver’s side.
The 76-year-old woman was taken to Navarro Regional Hospital in unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
