Police Officer Injured in Dallas Crash at Harry Hines Boulevard and Willowbrook Road

Dallas, Texas (September 19, 2019) – A Dallas police officer was injured in a suspected DUI crash Wednesday night in northwest Dallas, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. September 18, in the area of Harry Hines Boulevard and Willowbrook Road.

Police said the officer was driving northbound on Harry Hines Boulevard when they attempted to turn onto Willowbrook Road and was hit by a car that had run a red light.

The officer was taken to Parkland Medical Center in unknown condition.

Two men in the car that had run a red light were arrested. One of them faces a DWI charge.

The crash closed the southeast and westbound traffic.

The crash remains under investigation.
