Man Dies After Falling Off Bridge in Fort Worth Crash on Highway 287 Ramp To I-30

Man Killed in Fort Worth Collision on Highway 287 Ramp To I-30 Saturday night

Fort Worth, Texas (August 28, 2022) – A man has died after failing off a bridge in Fort Worth on Saturday night, according to authorities.

The deadly crash occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, August 27, on Highway 287 Ramp to Interstate 30.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in a minor crash. Both vehicles were stopped on the ramp that connects Highway 287 and Interstate 30.

A third vehicle hit one of the vehicles or one of the drivers. As a result of the crash, a driver fell off the bridge.

The man died upon the impact after falling about 100 feet. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities arrested the driver of the third vehicle.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
